To non-Exalted players: Marena is concealing her tattoos by magic, but it's not as easy to do the same with the Tell (in her case, the ears, tail and hair pattern) because it'ss a sort of mystical stamp of identity for each Lunar. Most of the time normal people just don't notice it since it is magically unnoticeable, but once you manage to recognise it you can identify that Lunar no matter what form they take.
