So finally I will admit that yes, as has been suspected, this arc of the story will heavily involve the Alchemical Exalted. Though not quite as you know them, those of you who know them at all. I have added my own twists, and since Alchemicals have not yet been released in 2nd Edition I may have to take some guesses on their precise abilties. The overall feel should be similar, though.

For non-Exalted players: What are the Alchemical Exalted? Well... I'm going to see if I can get it across in the comic itself. So you'll have to wait and see.
