A few people have been talking about how jade armour would be too heavy for a mortal, but would it? Weapons made of the magical materials are heavy, but that's because they're usually massively oversized. And although MM armour is lighter when worn by someone who can attune to it, it's still the same size as mortal armour; so it shouldn't any heavier than if it was made of plain steel.
